The tour starts with a guided visit to the ruins of the ancient Mayan city Coba. A certified expert in Mayan history will accompany you and share some interesting facts about the archaeological site.
You will learn about the history behind the ruins of Coba, as well as the customs and traditions of the Maya peoples who lived there long before the Spanish Invasion.
Then, you will have the opportunity to climb the pyramid Nohoch Mul, the tallest pyramid in Yucatan and one of the tallest in Mexico, and enjoy a breathtaking view of the jungle.
After the ruins, we will head for a refreshing swim in Multum-Ha, a big closed underground cenote located a few minutes away from Coba. You will have some free time at the cenote to enjoy the swim and relax a little bit.
After swimming, we will visit a house of a local Maya family where you will learn to prepare authentic homemade tortillas and enjoy a traditional Mexican lunch.
The tour ends with a visit of Tulum. The Tulum ruins are the only ones built by the sea, which makes them so special. Enjoy a relaxing walk at the archaeological site and take a couple of beautiful photos!
There is also an option to visit the ruins of Tulum by boat. Choosing this option, you won't have to wait in a queue at the entrance to the archaeological site. The boat trip also includes a snorkeling experience at the coral reef nearby.
